What do I do?

Motion Graphics

My bread n’ butter. This includes all aspects of the creative pipeline, from animating graphics, to designing, to storyboarding, to compositing live footage.

And a little of everything else of course.

2D Cell Animation

Where I started my creative journey. I received my art degree focusing on traditional cell animation, starting with paper and a lightbox.

3D and beyond

My latest creative endeavor has been learning the ins-and-outs of 3d while also exploring other fields that intrigue me, like game development.

Who am I?

Hello! My name is Kory Demers and I’ve been working as a motion graphics animator and artist in the creative advertising industry for over a decade.

Originally from Maine, I spent over ten years living in Boston MA where I went to college and started my career.

Over the years I’ve become masterful and reliable in many aspects of the creative process. I began my career as a 2d cell artist, but quickly side stepped into motion graphics where I took on roles such as animator, compositor, designer, story boarder, and concept artist. (Most recently I’ve started my journey into the world of 3d) .

I’ve worked with teams and on projects of all sizes in a variety of different creative roles, both giving, and taking, creative direction.

When I’m not working creatively, I spend my time with my wife and animals, (Dogs, Cats, and Chickens). Whether it be making art or music, trying new hobbies, reading, or just hanging out, I’m always on the look for new things to tickle the ol’ synapses.
